Cherry (Back to Sawn Hardwoods)
The grain characteristics of cherry are not as dramatic or as conspicuous as many other species. But cherry is unsurpassed in its finishing qualities, and its uniform texture takes a finish very well. The timber is moderately durable. Uses: furniture, fine veneer panels, woodwork, cabinets and woodenware novelties.
